At SK Public School, Majhola, Uttarakhand, the House Activity system is a unique initiative where students from each class are equally divided into four groups. Each group is assigned a house named after one of the four major rivers representing different regions of India and symbolizing the rich cultural heritage and development of Indian civilization. These houses are also represented by specific colors. Each house is guided by a House Teacher and led by a House Captain. Houses are allotted to all students from Grades I to XII.
At SK Public School, Majhola, Uttarakhand, many inter-house competitions are organized to foster a sense of healthy competition among students. A specific day of the week is dedicated to house activities. Each house is allocated a duration in the academic calendar during which it conducts special assemblies, along with various activities and competitions. To celebrate various festivals within the school, a wide range of inter-house activities are organized, ensuring 100% student participation. The conception of this initiative was envisioned to promote unity through participation and ensure uniform growth among all students.
